One of the most amazing things about the advancement of technology in American history is the fact that many great minds have built upon one another's ideas to create the modern conveniences we enjoy today. Cars are among the most revolutionary product to become available to the common masses. With cars, people can go anywhere, anytime. It started with the wheel and transport only became faster and more convenient since. Even lower-class Americans can now get from point A to point B cheaply and efficiently.

Drawn carts are the oldest means of transport other than walking, of course. Animal pulled carts and cars as early as 3500 BC. Ford both developed and perfected the assembly line, making the mass production and easy, and very cheap.

Ford's main goal was to create a car big enough for the whole family to enjoy together on tours and trips, although easy for anyone to own and care. People of all income could afford the Ford Model T, radically changing the way Americans moved.
